We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Change Management Consultant to join our growing Transformation Division. The Change Management Consultant will be based in our Collingwood head office and will report to the Enterprise Excellence Manager.
The position will be responsible for effectively engaging with people across the bank to improve change management, including project and BAU change. We are looking for someone who has previously been involved in the development and delivery of enterprise level change management project(s). This role will work across the organisation and require excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

What you will be doing
- Develop and implement a change management framework, which takes into consideration the bank’s readiness for change, culture and governance processes
- Encouraging inter-divisional participatory practices that enhance transparency and internal collaboration towards common goals
- Design, develop and implement change management and communications strategies; addressing individual, team and organisational requirements and areas of risk
- Act as a subject-matter expert for change management and internal engagement techniques and provide coaching
- Engage with project and activity owners to understand and assess the change management needs of individual initiatives
- Deliver change management support for strategic projects and BAU initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to aid successful change, engagement and project outcomes, such as whole-of-business standards for monitoring performance indicators
- Document and signed off by the responsibly business unit, clear business continuity and disaster recovery plans for major change initiatives
- Engage with the Marketing and Communications team to align change communications with the bank’s brand and language style guides
- Implement improvements aimed to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk and improve customer and internal employee experience.
What you will bring
- Experience in Program management/implementation, change management and internal engagement skills
- Experience in applying ‘better practice’ approaches to all aspects of change management which are practical and results-focused
- Experience in developing effective business cases
- Ability to think innovatively and analytically while focusing on the strategic objectives
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgement and pre-empt problems
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage with different audiences
- Ability to guide, mentor and develop other team members
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, communications or related field is desired
