The role is responsible in managing the Bank’s third party mortgage broker relationships, across their designated territory. The role is responsible to develop and grow the business and to ensure an exceptional experience for the bank’s business partners and customers. There are technical elements in this role but focus will be building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally and achieving designated sales targets.

What you will be doing
- Grow the Broker Channel in line with Bank Australia and Qudos Bank strategic goals.
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships to ensure collaboration and satisfaction.
- Deliver training aligned with Qudos Bank brand, policies, and credit appetite.
- Understand broker needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Communicate regularly via calls, emails, and meetings to share updates and ensure satisfaction.
- Analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve sales.
- Support broker development through business-building strategies aligned with bank values.
- Represent Qudos Bank at broker professional development events.
- Resolve broker and client issues promptly and professionally.
- Act as a key liaison between brokers and loan processing teams.
- Respond to broker requests and meet their day-to-day expectations.
- Monitor broker sales performance and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Deliver exceptional service that reflects the bank’s responsible banking values.
- Achieve performance objectives set by the Broker Relationship Manager
What you will bring
- Strong experience in relationship management and business development within an ADI.
- Strong communication, networking, and influencing skills at a corporate level.

- In-depth knowledge of lending, banking products, and industry trends.
- Current understanding of financial legislation including the Consumer Credit Code and Privacy Act.

- Experience in the financial broker sector and customer-owned enterprise model.
- Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Business planning experience and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and professional correspondence.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to respond to broker needs and feedback.
- Ability to build meaningful relationships through empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity.
- Resilience and adaptability in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Relevant graduate qualifications and job-specific technical expertise.
- Effective collaboration across internal teams including Distribution, Retail Banking, Corporate Services, Corporate Development, and People & Culture.
- Strong external relationship management with brokers, aggregators, and marketing teams.
