The Senior Test Analyst Position sits within the Transformation Delivery team for project and ongoing work with the team to ensure the environment is correctly designed and implemented to meet the Bank’s performance requirements.

This role is based in Collingwood or Bendigo.

What you will be doing

  • Design, maintain and execute test plans to ensure systems are delivered to specification
  • Provide leadership and advice on best practice in test processes, methodologies and test execution
  • Lead both technology and business resources through the QA and UAT test phases.
  • Provide advice to both technology and business resources through the QA and UAT test phases
  • Identify, document, monitor and close bugs identified in testing through the defect tracking system
  • Work with Infrastructure, Database and Network resources to develop and implement automated testing processes where possible
  • Review project documentation to ensure requirements are measurable and testable
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Transformation Delivery Team to ensure specification, development and test plans are aligned
  • Ensure solutions comply with security and privacy requirements for data and general information.

What you will bring

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into clear technical direction for third-party developers and support partners.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Logical, analytical, and creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and solution design.
  • Collaborative and independent work style, with a willingness to challenge ideas constructively and contribute to team success.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading testing teams and implementing robust testing strategies for large-scale application and data centre migration projects.
  • Deep understanding of test methodologies, with a rigorous approach to test design, execution, and quality assurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project) and strong awareness of emerging technologies.
  • Financial services experience is desirable.
