As AML Supervisor, you’ll oversee AML operations to ensure compliance with AML/CTF obligations, including managing operational volumes and regulatory reporting such as SMR submissions. Reporting to the Manager AML/KYC – Financial Intelligence, you’ll lead transaction monitoring, customer screening, enhanced due diligence and customer outreach processes. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of AML/CTF compliance, driving process improvements and coaching the team to enhance performance.

What you will be doing
- Oversee transaction monitoring, name screening and SMR submissions to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes
- Manage Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, customer risk assessments and outreach in line with AML/CTF requirements
- Lead regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, adherence to procedures and responsiveness to regulatory changes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, provide team training, and support audits and enterprise-wide risk assessments
- Prepare management reporting and updates for senior leadership and governance committees
- Drive continuous improvement, maintain quality standards, resolve complaints, and lead team coaching and performance management
- Ensure compliance with AML/CTF frameworks, communicate regulatory updates, and perform additional duties as directed.
What you will bring
- Strong experience in AML/CTF operations within financial services, including team leadership
- Relevant degree in accounting, finance, law or a related field
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations, risk and compliance frameworks, and industry best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to meet performance standards, manage risk and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements
- Ability to coach and lead teams, drive continuous improvement and respond effectively to change
- Napier experience preferred
- Security certifications and financial services experience highly regarded
