Through the merger of Bank Australia and Qudos Bank we’re creating a better, stronger and more resilient bank for our customers and employees. As one company with two trusted brands, we’re building on the strong foundations of our history and shared values as we bring together the best of both banks.

We are looking for a Treasury Middle Office – Senior Analyst to join our Treasury team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role can be based in our Collingwood (Melbourne) or Mascot (Sydney) Head Office.

This role is a core Line 1 Treasury function, responsible for owning, executing and continuously improving Treasury risk frameworks, specific to systems, models, reporting and data. The role ensures outputs are accurate, controlled and fit-for-purpose, while maintaining clear separation from funding execution and risk management activities.

Why join us

  • We have big plans to become Australia’s leading purpose-driven bank.
  • As a certified B Corp, we’re part of a global business community who meet the highest social and environmental standards, balancing profit and purpose.
  • Every role and person in our bank is essential to bringing our values, purpose and aspiration to life.
  • We offer flexible working options, competitive salary and 14% super.
  • Our staff have access to a range of meaningful benefits to support their physical and mental wellbeing including 24/7 free counselling, free flu vaccinations and discounted gym memberships.
  • We also support staff with study assistance, paid parental leave (regardless of gender), volunteer, bereavement, gender affirmation and family violence leave; and the opportunity for bonus annual leave.
  • We support our staff to grow their careers through learning and development and an organisational culture where we reward and recognise innovation and values, not long hours.
  • We are committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that reflects the Australian community.
  • We care for a conservation reserve – where we work with key partner organisations to protect threatened species and involve staff in conservation.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver accurate, timely Treasury risk, liquidity and IRRBB reporting for ALCO, Executive and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance liquidity and IRRBB measurement frameworks.
  • Support and manage regulatory reporting obligations (APS 210, APS 117, ARS 117) with strong validation, reconciliation, and control processes.
  • Oversee Treasury models, systems and data governance (e.g., QRM), ensuring robust documentation, lineage and automation.
  • Drive process, control and reporting uplift initiatives supporting SFI readiness and BAU transition.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Risk and Finance to deliver scalable reporting, data and system improvements.

What you will bring

  • Strong understanding of liquidity risk, IRRBB and balance sheet management within an APRA‑regulated environment.
  • Hands‑on experience in Treasury risk reporting, regulatory reporting or ALM modelling.
  • Proficiency with Treasury/ALM systems (QRM desirable) and large‑dataset analysis.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving capability with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage end‑to‑end reporting processes, ensuring data integrity, controls and clear insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex risk and balance sheet concepts for senior stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
