Banking and Financial Services

Through the merger of Bank Australia and Qudos Bank we’re creating a better, stronger and more resilient bank for our customers and employees. As one company with two trusted brands, we’re building on the strong foundations of our history and shared values as we bring together the best of both banks.

We are looking for a Manager - Treasury Middle Office to lead our Treasury Middle Office function. This is a key leadership role responsible for the Treasury systems, models and reporting frameworks that underpin the bank’s balance sheet, liquidity, capital, and funding management. You’ll oversee Treasury regulatory reporting, internal risk and management reporting, ALM modelling and securitisation trust oversight while ensuring Treasury data, risk metrics and submissions are accurate, scalable and aligned with prudential expectations.

Why join us

  • We have big plans to become Australia’s leading purpose-driven bank.
  • As a certified B Corp, we’re part of a global business community who meet the highest social and environmental standards, balancing profit and purpose.
  • Every role and person in our bank is essential to bringing our values, purpose and aspiration to life.
  • We offer flexible working options, competitive salary and 14% super.
  • Our staff have access to a range of meaningful benefits to support their physical and mental wellbeing including 24/7 free counselling, free flu vaccinations and discounted gym memberships.
  • We also support staff with study assistance, paid parental leave (regardless of gender), volunteer, bereavement, gender affirmation and family violence leave; and the opportunity for bonus annual leave.
  • We support our staff to grow their careers through learning and development and an organisational culture where we reward and recognise innovation and values, not long hours.
  • We are committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that reflects the Australian community.
  • We care for a conservation reserve – where we work with key partner organisations to protect threatened species and involve staff in conservation.

What you will be doing

  • Lead Treasury risk reporting and analytics across capital, liquidity risk, IRRBB and funding, delivering high‑quality insights to Treasury leadership, ALCO and senior management.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of Treasury regulatory reporting (APS 210, APS 117) and related prudential requirements.
  • Manage and enhance Treasury models and systems, including ALM platforms such as QRM, with robust governance of assumptions, methodologies and model performance.
  • Lead securitisation trust management, including oversight of trust models, investor reporting, RBA reporting and engagement with rating agencies.
  • Strengthen Treasury data governance, reporting infrastructure and documentation to support scalable, SFI‑ready reporting capabilities.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Treasury Middle Office team, fostering strong collaboration across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Technology and external stakeholders.

What you will bring

  • Strong understanding of banking balance sheet management, including liquidity risk, IRRBB and funding structures.
  • Knowledge of securitisation structures, trust management processes and associated reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Treasury modelling and ALM systems (e.g., QRM or similar), with strong quantitative and analytical capability.
  • Proven leadership experience within financial reporting, modelling, analytics or regulatory reporting teams.
  • Strong understanding of prudential reporting frameworks and regulatory expectations for ADIs.
  • Commitment to Bank Australia’s purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.
