The Senior Digital Insights & Reporting Analyst plays a key role in supporting Bank Australia’s Digital & Experience function by delivering high‑quality digital analytics, reporting and performance insights across the CMO division. The role transforms data from multiple sources into actionable intelligence that enables customer‑centred, data‑driven decision‑making across Digital, Brand and Marketing teams. Through automated reporting solutions and proactive performance monitoring, the role identifies opportunities to optimise digital channels, enhance customer engagement and support the bank’s growth objectives, while ensuring continuous improvement and compliance across customer‑facing digital platforms.

What you will be doing
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting and dashboards across digital channels (website, app, digital banking and acquisition funnels) to provide visibility of performance and customer behaviour.
- Lead CRM performance reporting across email, SMS, app and internet banking, analysing lifecycle programs to improve engagement, conversion and retention.
- Analyse digital journeys, campaigns and customer behaviour to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive‑ready narratives that support digital experience and growth objectives.
- Build and enhance automated reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Google tools and SQL, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.
- Support consistent integration, tracking and governance of digital data sources, ensuring high data quality and reliable insights.
- Proactively monitor digital performance to identify anomalies, friction points or emerging issues, supporting root‑cause analysis and resolution.
- Ensure analytics and reporting comply with privacy, regulatory and data‑governance standards, maintaining clear documentation and audit support.
- Partner closely with internal teams and external analytics and development partners to deliver ad‑hoc insights, deep dives and ongoing performance reporting.
What you will bring
- Degree in data analytics, information systems, marketing analytics or related discipline.
- Strong experience in digital analytics, BI or reporting roles.
- Experience supporting digital channels (websites, mobile apps or online banking), with knowledge of tagging, CX or marketing analytics desirable.
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. banking or financial services) highly regarded.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity, privacy and quality standards.
- Demonstrated experience building automated, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker or similar BI tools.
- Practical experience using digital analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) to interpret behavioural and performance data.
- Strong data capability including advanced Excel, SQL, and exposure to data modelling, DAX and reporting automation tools.
- Proven ability to translate complex digital data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach and ability to deliver to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
