The Senior Application and Integration Support Specialist is pivotal in supporting and enhancing the bank's internally maintained applications. An extensive knowledge of Dynamics CRM, MuleSoft, QRM, and Open Banking will be crucial in managing and resolving complex technical components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The role leads a small team, providing strategic oversight, guidance, and mentorship to ensure high standards of application support and integration.

What you will be doing

  • Lead and support day‑to‑day application and integration support activities, including incident resolution, maintenance and system optimisation.
  • Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance, performance feedback and support aligned to capability development.
  • Manage application support models, including break‑fix scenarios, integrations, infrastructure components and reporting solutions.
  • Design, build and support system integrations and interfaces, contributing to both simple and complex integration solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and support across platforms such as Dynamics CRM, MuleSoft, QRM and Open Banking systems.
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests, ensuring timely escalation, recovery and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal Level 3 teams, SMEs and external vendors to resolve issues and improve system performance.
  • Support testing (UAT), change management and release activities, ensuring deployments align with governance and operational standards.

What you will bring

  • Strong ability to manage service performance, ensuring service levels are met and issues are proactively identified and resolved.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to engage and collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and small projects, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • High level of self‑awareness, recognising the limits of your expertise and seeking support where required.
  • Extensive experience supporting end‑to‑end applications, with strong exposure to platforms such as Dynamics CRM, MuleSoft, QRM or Open Banking.
  • Solid understanding of application support, integration and change management governance frameworks.
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors and driving process optimisation through technology solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to provide practical technical advice and operate effectively in dynamic environments (financial services experience highly regarded).
